In an auspicious event today, a opening ceremony was held for the road work in Ward Number 16 of Old Tandur. The ceremony was attended by prominent local figures, including Nayeem Affu, the Town President, Raju Goud, the Vikarabad District Library Chairman, Deepa Narsimulu, the MCT Vice Chairperson, Sridhar Goud, the Ward Councillor, Rajan Goud, Liyaqat Ali Molsab, and Shabana Yasmeen, the HM of United Public School, among others.
The event served as a platform to discuss various ongoing and upcoming development plans for the area. Several key initiatives were addressed, ranging from the construction of the Basti Hospital to road work projects, the development of a national highway from Old Tandur, the construction of a Railway Over Bridge (ROB), and the endeavor to make Tandur a clean and green city.
